In honor of Mosh's 90th anniversary celebration this October, we’re collecting stories from our community and we want to hear from you!
We’re putting together a book that captures the spirit of Mosh through the lens of five iconic spaces: the brecha (pool), tzrifim (cabins), chadar ochel (dining hall), MLC, and the cesspool. Mosh alum David Meyer (Madatz '08) is editing and compiling your memories into a collection that celebrates what makes machaneh so special.
Maybe you learned to swim in the brecha.
Maybe you learned the power of teamwork cleaning your tzrif before Shabbat.
Maybe you overcame stage fright singing on the MLC stage.
Maybe you transcended to another level of consciousness washing pots to the perfect playlist at 2 a.m. in the Chadar Ochel.
Maybe you caught a whiff of the cesspool one night and decided to commit your life to waste management and sanitation.
Maybe your Mosh was in Parole or Buffalo Gap, but the words "brecha," "chadar ochel," "tzrifim" and "moadon" still remind you of home.
Share your story: Let's celebrate 90 years of community, joy, and memories one story at a time.
