The Gift of Mosh Magic

Moadon Rcel

The Moadon Rachel (Rachel’s Clubhouse) will be a new, open-air pavilion centrally located just above our activities field.

Rachel Glaser, for whom the moadon will be named, led Mosh as director/business manager for nearly three decades. Rachel passed away on February 12, 2022/1 Adar 5782, but her impact lives on -- l'dor v'dor (from generation to generation) -- in the lifelong learning instilled in all of us Moshniks who were lucky enough to be made to feel like members of her family.

In Rachel's memory, we ask our community to contribute to the construction of Moadon Rachel. All donations are tax-deductible. We are hoping to break ground in March 2024 and have the pavilion ready to use for the first day of camp!

Note: any donations received in excess of project costs will go towards our Capital fund, which will be used for the upkeep of Moadon Rachel and Mosh's facilities.

The Glaser family has suggested that, given Mosh’s tendency to shorten names, “MoRah” (the Hebrew word for “teacher”) would be a fitting moniker. Unlike other camps, we do not typically name buildings for people. In fact, we have a policy that instructs us only to do so in very special circumstances. We believe this is one of those circumstances, as there is no one who had a bigger impact on Mosh than Rachel.
